Victory

Two weeks ago I went to Chicago, Illinois for PLANET Student Career Days. It was an amazing experience, though I was very nervous. I also participated in PLANET last year in Atlanta, Georgia. There were a lot of amazing networking opportunities this year, which I enjoyed. After three arduous days of events and workshops we attended the awards ceremony. We discovered that our school (BYU-Idaho) took third place! I had also placed first in my Maintenance Cost Estimating event, which was fun. This event was sponsored by Brickman a large landscaping company.

This week has been super hectic! Right now I'm preparing for the PLANET Competition in two weeks which will be located in Chicago, Illinois. My goal this week has been to complete all of my huge projects by Saturday so that I can focus next week solely on learning a new program called Vectorworks. I am super excited to head out to Chicago, which I hear is actually warmer than Rexburg right now. I can't believe that this semester is coming to a close! It's my last semester at BYU-Idaho after attending this school for five and a half years.

This morning I had a random allergic reaction, which was unexpected because I didn't workout. However, I did eat a whole mango...maybe I'm allergic to mangos? I'm back at it again though, and really need to practice the harp tonight.
